UConn's Davis on Biletnikoff Award watch list

UConn senior receiver Geremy Davis was named to the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award which is presented annually to the nation's top receiver.

As a junior Davis had a team-leading 71 catches including a program single-game record 15 in the regular-season finale against Memphis. He had four 100-yard games and finished with 1,085 receiving yards during the 2013 season which is the sixth highest total in UConn history and most since the Huskies began playing at the FBS level in 2002.

Davis has led UConn in receptions in each of the last two seasons and if he accomplishes the feat again as a senior, he will join Mark Didio as the only Huskies to lead UConn in catches for three seasons in a row. His 1,771 career receiving yards is the most at UConn during the FBS era and ranks ninth all time.

Davis was also named to the College Football Performance Awards WR watch list.
